My first aligners
Wow, my aligners have arrived! Can’t wait to get them in and start this treatment!
I had prepared myself mentally that this may hurt a bit, and have decided not to give up because after the whole train track (conventional) braces experience – I knew that I would have to persevere for this to work for me….
So, a quick 30 minute appointment and my first aligners are in, not so bad ! A bit of roughness around the edges and it cuts into my lip a bit on one side. Wasim was kind enough to adjust them and make them more comfortable and now they seem fine! He showed me how to put them in and take them out without damaging them. Whew! That needs some practice!
Took a few days getting used to though! Feels funny having something in my mouth all the time!
So upwards and onwards – looking forward to my next appointment in 3 weeks!
